I found the same thing! Stupid spastic birds! lol Sorry you lost two, I lost my entire flock except for one lone banty hen. This summer hasnt been kind to me or my chickens. I'll start over next spring, and just stick to hatchery or barnyard birds.

I have started a project. I will try and create my own line of Hambars. I have the NH Roo - and 8 to 12 BR Hens. I will start the breeding process this spring.

I've helped some folks before. They paid for fuel to get there and back, had a place to park my travel trailer and took care of dinner. We discussed plans and wrote up a materials list. I brought my own tools. A day or two later, they had a coop to paint. I'm not a professional builder, I just like to do it.

And you do fantabulous work too!

VF and his wife are lovely people, and those of us who benefited from his skills and time are very happy with our new coops/runs. I don't have any pictures of my VF coop, but I know 4312, SadieSue and Firewifejess have posted pictures of their creations.

I blame CL for my chicken addiction...oh, buy an incubator....it is fun. Ya, I now have like 85 birds. poop boards. Sand runs. mix and make foods. Here have a chicken or two or three. Enablers....all enablers.

Did you ever get to the Grand Tetons ?
I have always wanted to go there too.....................on my bucket list along with a guided hunt/fish/stay at a lodge thing in Alaska.....

Oh, no I do blame CL and CR....and many more....all enablers. But I love all my birds. fortunately for me so does DH. but he does roll his eyes every so often at me.

Remind me to stay away from Dale...if I see him I will run the other way !!!!!!!!!!!

They posted a list of what breeds they were getting for the spring chick season, I wonder if you could find out if they will have Light Brahmas this time around.
I just had a goofy thought...if you get more pullets, you will have a bunch of "drama queens"!

Hopefully not really though, considering all you went through with Drama.
