Whats the poultry auction like at the Enumclaw Sales Pavillion? I want to go one Saturday but not sure if its worth it. What kind of information is provided with the birds?

You can get good info from some of the sellers and no info from some and the wrong info from others. I always tell what the bird is the age and if I know the sex, if I dont know the sex I dont put anthing on the box. The birds I send there are heathy but I will till you I wont buy from there ever. A lot of people send old birds there and and sick birds there. Just my 2 cents what are you looking for maybe some one here could help you with what you want..

My MIL makes a lime cream pie that everyone seems to love..I could probably get the recipe from her tomorrow. I know it is easy to make, and takes the juice and zest of like 5 limes.

you could squeeze them and make margaritas

squeeze them and make fajitas or carne asada

Here's a humongous egg our barred rock, Amelia, laid for us a week or so back...Either that or a stray velociraptor broke into the coop and left it! Poor Amelia! We gave her extra mealworms after that one.

There are people who will come remove them!!!!! They use them to make ANTI venom. Speaking of has any body here ever been prescribed an EPI pen??? Well I was last week. When I went to the pharmacy guess what. They give those things away. Yup $240.00 . At that rate I will just need to say a few special words before working with the girls because there is just no way I can buy the pen!!!!

Two of my kids and I carry them. I had to buy a bigger purse to hold all of 'em! I have to carry 2 of my own with me all the time. What really sux... you have to replace them every year. Why are those things so expensive? It is simply rediculous. I have a gallon-sized bag full of "expired" epi pens that I have to take to the Police Station to dispose of. I will be trashing $1,920.00 worth of epi pens. When you look at it that way, it is pretty sad.

I do take birds to sales. I don't normally add any info about the bird. I do not knowingly sell ill birds.
I would not buy at one of these kind of sales but IF a person does choose to. Remember it is ALWAYS BUYER BEWARE !!!

CR.. if you want 'em, I have expired ones. I don't know if you want to use them. I just got new ones for my kids - I know my oldest has one at school that expires in October. I could swap it out early and mail it to you. My oldest son uses the adult dose. My daughter uses 1/2 strength.

During our meeting with itsren and her wonderful young people her oldest son gave me a Yoda (sp) he made for me!!! I think this is pretty cool even though I am not sure what a Yoda is But I have to show ya a pic and of course since it's a Chicken Rustler Yoda well you guessed it. Gotta hide the cute little guy's face!!

Oh my gosh... I'll have to show my son the yoda he made - wearing a Chicken "Wrestler" mask! LOL! My son has been informed that, yes, the Chicken "Wrestler" always wins the match.
