Loving all the quilts too!

I'm a fairly new quilter, only have made a few small one's so far. I get my craft on when the weather turns foul, and I already have the itch, but can't bear to pull myself out of the garden yet!!!

I copied Chickielady's idea today of putting seeds in the dehydrator. I put in a TON of Rudbeckia, and after looking online I think it is the Goldsturm variety. Also a TON of Crocosmia Lucifer. Let me know if anyone wants any of them, or, someone fill me in on the seed swap?

I seem to recall one here late last winter? Or was that just veggies? I want in on it this year though either way!!!

I'm especially looking for more blue/purple perennials......if anybody has some they want to trade for the above plants, let me know!

PM me - I have lots of blue and purples in my cottage garden!

VF - this is one of the new girls, she's over a year old and was laying at HoneySuckleHills' place until the day I brought her here. I just don't know why she'd go from laying, to terrified and adjusting to a new home, to broody I kinda hope she's not right now, I don't want to spend any more time with the chickens or trying to break her at the moment. In the springtime, all lights are green for broodies!

Jess, I've never seen her broody. Maybe she misses me. Maybe I should come over and give her a good talking to! I hope she lays soon for you. She's such a sweetie!

Clearly, there was an accident in which the carton of eggs was tipped and some of them just happened to roll into a powered-up incubator.

oh and for those who are looking at trommels... make sure it is easy to turn it motorized cuz after awhile you will wish it had a motor
