The quilts are all so pretty, my mom is working on an oriental themed one for us with black and gold. She should be done with it sometime in the next 5 years lol!

My, oh, my!
I leave for a couple days to throw my daughter a Sweet Sixteen party and now I'm 300 plus posts behind!!!
It was a fabulous party, if I say so myself!
I think we had close to 50 guests.
So much fun starting with a DJ for the first 4 plus hours and ending with a bunch of really nice kids all cuddled around the fire pit talking into the night.
Here's a photo of the cake. (I'd be happy to send contact information for the baker if you are looking for something special. Love her work!)
I love my chickens, I love having parties but ...... I better get to work soon!
On the other hand, what's another few minutes on BYC gonna hurt, right?

When ever I incubate I have really weird dreams about my chicks too.....Not quite like yours

! But to the point where my DH sais that maybe I should stop candleing the eggs so much and that I have to much yolk on the brain.

But the Squinkies is a great idea for cup cake toppers, or to even create a sene on a full cake. Hope you don't mind if I steel that from you?!

Feel free to! That's why I put the thought out there. Be prepared though - every time you make cupcakes from that point on, some kid will walk up to you and ask where the Squinkies are. LOL!

I'll have to see if I can track down the Littlest Pet Shop rooster. My daughter has been begging for some, and I've not let her get started on those. Maybe she'll get a rooster in her stocking.

And I feel the same way about a few more minutes on BYC. I need to get back to the yard. I'm trying to move all the wood beneath the boat tent, now that the boat is in winter storage, and set up a work area. The chickens are having blast being underfoot and finding new areas to dig holes. They can dig holes faster than I can fill them back in.
