I got my confirmation today for Salem.

This is gonna ROCK!!!!! I am being set in an island booth and EVERYBODY entering or leaving the building show must pass through my space!!!! And the RV space is very close too!! That is very important for DW.

Yes I am finally starting to get eggscited. Now to just get a bunch more items made in the next few days.

Day 4 is what I cracked into my frying pan back in July from store bought eggs. That was one nasty surprise!

It's also the reason I have my own chickens now.

I've heard of that happening before. Honestly I don't understand how it's possible unless you are buying from a fancy high-end grocery store with local, pastured eggs. I don't imagine commercial battery operations keep any roosters around.

Tonight I decided I should build a fire in the stove. Since it was 27 here last night. Well I just got the fire going and guess who is laying there soaking up all the heat !!!

He doesn't like it, poor guy. He's spent most of the evening face down in the shavings. I checked him a little while ago and he'd backed into a corner and was standing up. I hope this helps him! I'd love to take him to the vet, but I just can't justify it. He's a boy and I won't be able to keep him, and nobody would want to breed him anyway. I just hope if he makes it he won't end up as soup.
