I forgot to mention: I'm getting a splash son of the blue SQ Ameraucana rooster I got for my cousin from CL last year; he'll be in a pen with the two SSHes and the three Easter Eggers, (who are all more or less silver), with the intent of breeding their daughters back to an SSH in my quest for a blue, spangled, blue egg laying chicken.

Hey, I have the best DH. He just went and bought something to fix our outside spigot; it's been leaking for months. Glad that will get done before winter. He bought curtains and rods to use over our bedroom closets too; the closet doors were ugly and clinical; we took the doors and tracks off and will be using pretty cloth shower curtains instead. Should open up the closets to make clothes more accessible, and pretty up the room a bit. AND he bought a bottle of wine. Yeah...he's my favorite.
