Hi olliecatch!!

There are lots of folks on here with Marans, hopefully someone will come along soon. Or you can post a request in the Wanted section on the Buy/Sell/Trade boards.

You might also try posting a wanted ad on Craigslist too. Good luck!

Hey there!

I live in Forks, which is pretty far from you, and I know you city people aren't used to it like me, but you can come out my way this winter for some Olive Egger chicks, sexed, if you like. I'm going to start making some Olive Egger recipes this winter so I can have pullets laying in the spring, and I wouldn't mind selling extras. As for Marans, I won't have any available until Spring.

Some of my Olive Eggers, btw, will be tufted and rumpless, too.

Cree Farms came to mind. I believe that they are on the Kitsap Peninsula. You can run a Google search for them and they should pop up. Or there should be others here that have their contact information.

Thought I would be the first to say good morning. It doesn't happen often. Okay I just wasn't sleeping well, and got to hurting so bad that it was easier to get up and get something done. I need to make a couple of quilt blocks for a swap I am doing with some of the gals here on BYC. So I have a coffee and Ibuprofen and I should be good to go for a bit. I think I am already looking forward to a nap.

I have been searching as well...you may be able to enter Pacific County Fair opens today...for everything but animals...tomorrow is drop off for animals.
From what I understand, there is so few entries that sometimes they let you in late, call and ask ?

I want to enter my 4 mo old BBS roo, Roscoe to the fair...He is Blue copper marans, absolutely awesome, blue with black hackle and shiney copper in it...he is beautiful and only just shy of 5 mo.
Next year though...I am still under isolation, although I see no new cases or any sneezing...cool !
All birds fine !
We have worked again yesterday, and this morning on the new coop that will house the brooder, and the chick pen with red heat lamp.
The brooder is contained, and has a commercial element in it, and can also incubate, so I use it when we go into lock down...and the chick pen sits on the floor with red light...for the older chicks.
This coop is brand new, has never had choookies in it, and is far away from the other coops, so I will continue on with plans to pick up lav orps and see Tamara on Saturday for the keet/orp exchange.
And where has JessicaRabbit been ?
Anyone see her ?
NWChicks ?
Give her a heads up to see if she still wants the free stud bunny she can pick up this Saturday in Monroe !
I go this afternoon to drop off my several paintings to enter in the Pacific County Fair (tiny fair)
Next year I am doing Monroe Farie or Puyallup.
Just not ready enough this year.

Christina, I'm ALWAYS ready for a nap! Ugh! Mondays!

My DH is always ready for a nap too. I on the other hand rarely ever nap. I am not sure why, but I just never seem to give in during the daylight hours. I think it would make DH and all the puppies very happy if would nap. The puppies love to nap with DH.
