L&Schickens :

Did I miss out on this thread some how??
Well, if so, I found it now.
I am in south west WA. We are on flood watch (Again) right now!! How exciting!! Not quite as a New Hampshire blizzard, but interesting none the less.

I have been here 2 years now and came over from the great north east state of New Hampshire, by way of California.

Our flock was brought back with us from New Hampshire but was very small. I lost all by 2 Seramas once we were here. Somehow, I now have over 50 birds.

Temptation, thy name is Terra!

I find myself thinking... "I could put them in with my small chicken/guinea flock...." HAHAHA

I'm still hoping for Greys in the spring, myself.

Do you know how much she is asking for them?

Anyone looking for some mixed ducklings? They are Cayuga/Blue Swedish crosses. I have 15 that I need to rehome. Sorry it's not the best pic. They are 2 weeks old now. The picture of them is when they were 2 days old. Email me and I can send you a more current picture if your interested.

You know you guys all want some.....

The ducklings are tempting, the little EE chick in the pic is cute too. I just have to keep telling myself "Resist ordering from a hatchery, I will have my own cute fuzzy babies in a few months, winter will go by fast. Must resist chickies!". I am not sure if I will make it through the winter, I might have to hatch some out to keep from going crazy, lol.

I'm making up a Barnyard Wishlist for next spring/summer.

I've already getting BC Marans, a Narragansett pair and maybe a Khaki Campbell hen (I may wait until later to get a pair of BLR Wyandottes, and some RIR).

I also have to limit myself to a pair of Grey Calls (if Terra doesn't tempt me with more!

).

Now, for the rest of my Barnyard Wishlist:
Quail (I'm still researching what type I want.)
Welsummers (a trio)
and Nigerian Dwarf goats (pets. We've always wanted a pair, and our blackberries are out of control).

I think my DH knows I have something up my sleeve... :aww

OOOOhhhhh!!! So eggsited! I was eager to find out about the show, thanks Terra! Didn't know how I was going to convince my husband to drive very far, but since it's close by I don't have to worry, we're there!! It'll be my first- just want to go look around. I am new to chickens, and fairly new to this site, too. Thanks Again!
