Tomato Lady said that she built her own coop and run...a big shout out to her! I always help with the projects but have never done a build by myself. But I get the feeling it I really want to add a couple rabbits to my "farm", I'll have to learn how to build on my own!

I am needing to quickly thin my flock a bit as I went a little overboard in providing eggs for my broodies to hatch out for me. I'm on the south end of Whidbey. Here's what I have up for sale at the moment:

1 Gold-Laced Wyandotte laying hen, 3 years old (lays nearly daily) - $12
1 blue and tan Ameraucana pullet, 3 months old - $12
1 Black Silkie, unsexed, three months old - $15
1 Black Jersey Giant pullet, 1 week old - $8
2 Rhode Island Red pullets, 1 week old -$5 each


I'm really hoping to sell them by Friday night as I have ducklings hatching out this weekend.

You might need to put a deposit first though. I'm going to go look at getting a male rabbit for meat breeding.

Ok, here's a long shot. I am looking for a "Janine W." who was wanting my Welsummer rooster with 7 points. We have traded emails a few times but evidently I must've inadvertently deleted hers.

Janine, if you see this, I apologize for not contacting you but I've looked everywhere and just can't find any contact info for you. The rooster is still yours if you want him.

For everyone else, if I don't get in touch with Janine again, would anyone else like him? I've got him in a breeding pen now and will be done with him in about a week. He's a good looking bird but I'm working toward getting a great looking bird and he's got two more points on his comb that I want and the Standard calls for.

Just thought Id let everone know that Bill County Feed has a great price on the chicks he has left , I think they are all 2.00. Cant remember what kind but you should check it out. They are in Enumclaw.
I looked and thought no no NO walk away and hay I did.

So if anyone is looking for goats I have some for sale, they are dairy wethers.

hey all!

my mom is going to transport a roo to yakima for me next week - the lady who's getting him is coming from the tri-cities area. none of us parties involved are familiar w/the yakima area. anyone got suggestions for a very easy to locate place to meet that's easily accessible from both directions? thanks all!
