Ok, I just talked to Michael, and he says that he goes through a 50lb bag a week. Kittymomma hit it right on. So if 4 of us pick a week each month, and we can order it thru the feed store, it should be good. So there is, Donna, Michelle, Ron, Kim, Russ. We have more than enough to rotate weeks.We can each take a number. Just need to know how long each person can provide feed. Michelle said he gets layer pellets. We can just keep each other posted on here.

Ok so I just got done with dinner and was able to come back and check in, you guys are all awesome. I use about 2 bags every 2 1/2 - 3 weeks, I have 21 hens and they also free range. I forgot to ask him if they free range. I also forgot to let him know about checking at his local store to get produce scraps. If anyone is emailing him will you tell him about it. Anyway, you guys have a great idea for volunteering months. I am not sure if I can do every month. This month I have extra and so I can contribute but I cannot guarantee next month but will try and do at least 1, hopefully they have a good price. I am actually going to try and talk to the manager and let him know what we are doing and see if they could give us a small discount. You never know. Let me know your thoughts.

Sounds good! We can just keep each other in the loop, so he gets a bag every week for a little while. We can do what we each can. Maybe you can talk to the feed store, and they can set up a Michael account.

That is a great idea! I think you should go first then since you're taking your little extra for the month and contributing. if they will take credit over the phone, I'll go ahead and get my portion this month also.
