Don't want you to think I am ignoring you. It is just that I know one is a female. The other one looks different, and one might wonder why I cannot tell what gender it is (usually I am quite good at that) but......??? I am going to take it over to Justbugged tomorrow and see if she can tell.

Christine thinks the kittens are about 9 or 10 weeks old. This one is a little fluffy, not really long haired, just a little fluffy. It is a sweet kitty. Hopefully, we will resolve the question of its gender tomorrow afternoon.

I didn't think you were ignoring me

We're not actively seeking a kitten, but if there happened to be a male around that needed a home, we'd happily take it.

Everything about this case makes me go back and forth between anger and sadness. That man had no business walking the streets. He shouldn't be in Washington and once he got in our system here he shouldn't have been allowed to get out on bail. That's where the anger comes from. The sadness... well look at the lives changed... the hearts just ripped out of families. It makes me cry.

You'ld think that kid would have grown up by now.

For those of you who believe in God and the power of prayer I have a request for you.
There is a member in Washington here that has been out of work for some time.
This week that person has some great opportunities to make some money to make up for a long drought.
I didn't ask them about doing this so I don't want to name them.
Would you please join me and offer up prayers for them?

Thanks!

Hi All,
Just swung by Reber Ranch and bought a bag of pellets and scratch for Michael. He should be needing more soon. They are waiting for him at Will Call, they will call Michael. Not all the employees are aware yet. He is in the computer system.

I am enjoying reading about everyone's thoughts about the get together in February.

I believe he received 4 bags in early November, so I was figuring that he'd run out in early December. He had said that he went through a bag a week. Can't hurt to call it in. It won't go bad.

It was a great day today. Just a little bit too cold. Also didn't get anything done on insulating the coop. I am waiting for my new roosts from my friend who seems to be procrastinating. I have to take out the old roosts in order to do the insulaing, so decided to go with roosts on a frame for future cleaning and such.

Still with all that didn't happen here today, it was a nice day!

OK, I don't want to boast too much, so all of you who are tired of hearing about this, I will whisper and you plug your ears:

Yes I do have a little black male kitten at my house. But I promised Vicki (aka TomatoLady) and her granddaughter that I would keep him. He is their favorite kitten out of the batches that they have had at their home. I got 4 fish today from Vicki, but she was not able to bring the other kitten that she wasn't sure of. I think I will need to go to her house, and take the very well traveled pet carrier. This time I will need to make sure that i have one of my pet carriers with me so I can finally can leave her at her house. I am fairly sure there will be more kitten soon, so I will do what I can to find a little boy for you. Christina

I think Mattel had her kidnapped by the Chinese, and Mattel is not going to to pay the ransom. Until there is a big enough protest from all of us girls that still remember poor Midge. Then Mattel will try to charge us all twice as much for us to buy a cheap knockoff from china that sort of looks like her. I think that is the best conspiracy theory I can come up with to night.

Please don't take this very seriously. I will probably regret it the morning. Sad to say I am very sober tonight. I wish I had a better excuse.

What about skipper? Anyone know if she is still around?

I think Skipper got married to one of the GI Joes. She spent a lot of time with the GI Joes over the years. They now have 6 kids, and are very active in the community of Omaha. They felt that they will be better able to raise their children in the Mid-West. Skipper had to retire from being Barbie's best friend. She has gained too much weight, (six babies will do that to a girl) and Mattel and Skipper agreed to part ways. So now Skipper and her family are living in a very nice home with enough property to have a very lovely chicken coop, with 15 hens and a very happy rooster. Of course the family also has 3 Labrador Retrievers, plus a very fat tabby cat. It's nice to know that the girl next door is living the American Dream quietly in Omaha Nebraska.

I hope this will do for really good absurd story about Skipper, and one of the GI Joes.

P.S.
Feel free to add to the story if you want. I think we could give more chickens, and some ducks too. I also didn't name the breeds of chickens the family has.
