That is funny! I actually had that made into a license plate frame for our "goat trailer" when we were into the pygmy goats. Speaking of I just took our last 4 to the sale yesterday. They actually sold for a pretty good price $40. each. But then I learned the sale is taking 30%

Have never had that happen. In the past when we took goats to the other sale (that is now gone). They charged $4-$5 per head. And to make it worse when I dropped the goats off I asked what the fee was. The guy told me O I don't think he's charging anything. I told him well he has to make money some how and I know NORMALY they (others) charge about $5 per head.
OK enough of that rant I will deal with it on Monday when I call the auctioneer/owner.

Mikeb just FYI I have black and red sex link and am very happy with them. Also have 4 RIR that are pretty wild.
Also remember that as long as yer birds have the basics, food, water and shelter. The most important part of what you have for a coop/run....... Is that it must be what fits your situation as far as space, cost and what you like.

Post up some pics.

It is pretty easy to tell at about a week or two, the cockerels start getting a bigger comb and the legs start getting heavier.

Hi all;

I do not actually have pics yet. I am looking at some on Craigs list and was wondering if I would have any way of guessing which were pullets. She is selling them as straight run but I was hoping with some really good advice(thanks aLL) I may get lucky. I will post pics of the ones I am bringing home today later on.
