Unfortunately not, here is a link that might be helpful. I've filed my master business application and have my EIN from the IRS and stuff, but since I sell directly to household consumers only who may or may not have bought them from my house..

WA Egg Licensing Requirements

I don't think how the coop looks is so important so much as it's clean.

ETA: Now, if you're looking for an organic, cage free, or free range stamp, I think the requirements are more stringent. USDA should have information on those certifications/inspections.

thats my point..... all the layers of straw over the winter have matted hard and if disturbed the ammonia will make you gag... and i am wearing an agriculture breathing mask..... i am thinking of building a new coop with either a concrete floor or linolium... so i could pressure wash the crap out of the coop.....

since our family already has a fruitstand we already have the business license's... i just need to get the egg one...

If you go to the link the page has all kinds of links if you want to check it out more...................

Check out chickens on Whidbey Island

OK, all you fowl-curious folks.

It’s time to get inspired to raise chickens in your own back yard.

The inaugural Rock ‘N Doodle Whidbey Island Chicken Coop Tour will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 24 on Whidbey Island.

The Island County 4-H Rock ‘N Doodle Poultry club is hosting its first coop tour offering “best, funniest, funkiest and most beautiful chicken coops and enclosures” on the island, nine in all.

Tour hosts and coop owners will be on hand to share their experiences with chicken care, coop design and more.

Visitors to Camelot Downs farm will learn how colonial chickens, pea fowl and turkeys made rough ocean crossings to become the basis for many popular breeds today.

Working Girls Farm will show how chickens can be raised and processed cleanly and safely for meat. Experts will demonstrate slaughtering and plucking techniques.

The Raven and the Spade, a certified-organic farm with a formal potager garden, also features a “magical chicken tower.”

Tickets, which cost $10 per person or carpool, include tour maps.

Buy tickets at Bayview Farm & Garden at Bayview Corner and Skagit Farmers Supply in Freeland and Oak Harbor.

The Rock ‘N Doodle Poultry club is open to ages 5 to 18. Proceeds from the coop tour will go toward the club’s community education efforts and barn improvements at the Island County Fairgrounds.

See whidbeycoops.blogspot.com or call 360-682-5312 for more information.

Flower power: The Snohomish County Dahlia Society will host a tuber sale from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sundayat Legion Memorial Park, 145 Alverson Blvd., Everett.

Society members will help gardeners with their selections, answer questions and share pictures of most varieties.

We sell our eggs to we have one guy every Tue he wants 5 doz, that a few others that get from us everyother week or so. Its getting so Im going to have to buy ous to eat. I have a few hens I want to send to new homes and my husband wont let me becasue of not getting the eggs..
If you have a fruit stand and its on your land I dont think you'll need the egg lic. We are in the middle of getting a Grade A Raw Diary going, all the stuff you have to do not fun. But Id rather do them than have someone get sick.. Still trying to talk my husband into letting me make cheese and selling it and not the milk but he said NO. Im just going to wait and keep working on him.

Im getting BCM eggs for bayhorsebonne, my friend is driving down there and so she's going to pick some up for me. I only have one hen and one rooster from her. I hope the hatch will be better than last time. Im pretty sure it will.

Had another calf born at 10:00am today. (female) had one born three weeks ago (male).

Okay so I've got a question for you guys with gardens, orchards, and whatever other food-bearing plants:

Are you allowed to sell your food on your property without the need of licenses and permits like you are eggs, or what do you have to go through for that? I looked it up and apparently I have to have inspections or something. . . But isn't that just a little silly? I mean it is on my land, from a small orchard and big garden. . . ?

Just planted a whole bunch more in the garden. . . And STILL impatient for things to get moving along. . . For my new pullets to start laying, for the garden to grow and produce, and the orchards to produce, and the pasture to grow in all its new stuff: Quinoa, Flax, Wheat Sunflowers, Millet, Amaranth, etc.
