Just put 24 eggs in the bator 2 days ago, but curious about what to do once they are out of the brooder? I mean, I really need an enclosure for them right? or do you clip there wings? I just have no clue why I got these eggs at this point....lol I saw the adult birds and just fell in love, they are absolutely beautiful!!

You already give me so much advice! I feel like a thorn in your side

I too am SO sorry to hear about your dog. How old is she??? I thought I was going to have to put my GSD down last Christmas, but things worked out for the good. Thanks to a GOOD vet !! I could write a book on how wonderful my dog is

. She is the perfect chicken dog (they walk all over her) and coyote watcher. She will be 14 yrs. next month. she is about 90% deaf now.. I too wish I could clone her !! Those of us that have GREAT dogs know why they are mans (womens) best friends

I wish you the best and hope that in time you can find another dog that you can love. and that it will give you that same love in return

Samantha was 17 last December, she is 90% blind from cataracts, has great hips and joints, and is about compltely deaf.
She lives in a big dog house (now) in the middle of my big chicken run 100x200 feet...and all the hens love her.
I have to fid another dog...a puppy that is good with critters, birds and is not too hyper and nothing foo foo or needs to see a doggie beauty shop....!!Sigh!!!!

I think I will pass on giving advice for a wee bit, and these guys raising pheasants can sure help you !
Look at their beautiful birds and set up !
I am looking for sharp tailed and sage grouse hatching eggs...and candled my royal palms today and have 1 maybe and 2 that looked good, and 3 clears out of 6, so I need to find some more royal palm eggs !
ASAP so they will all be a relative age...

I also wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and condolences, thankyou all so much.
From here on if you need me please e-mail or PM, Thanks again~

Anyone up for 7 maybe 8 teenage female runner ducks from Holderreads? They were hatched April 19, and haven't even fully featherd out yet. 3 are black and 4 are buff/white.

I've been waiting to hear the honking quacks, and I think I've got their sexes figured out now
