That's great! I'm sure she really appreciates all that you've done to keep her flock together.

that's awesome you were able to keep most of her flock together... I am sure she is really happy about that. That's really frustrating about what the city is doing to her.

I'm so glad that her flock is able to stay together. I hope that she can come visit them from time to time! As far as warm fuzzies, I'm not sure what happened, but I'm sending warm fuzzies her way!!

Chickielady I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you are doing ok today

My friend has 4 yorkies (we live on her property) and they all chase the chickens. 2 have even cornered my roo and almost killed him several times! I would maybe go with an American cattle dog (she also has one of these), she is a great chicken watcher and she always chases off the coyotes, and very low maintenance grooming wise. Our neighbor also has one and he is the sweetest thing in the world. He comes over at least once a day to say hi and his dad said he has never had a bath lol.

why no warm and fuzzy feeling here ?
Was someone mean to her ?
Seems to me like she has had a hard enough time, I would have moved, but I admire her for sticking it out and fighting...it could change the rules that way.
More power to her !
My dog is in heaven, I am OK, and thanks all for the hugs !

Pepper is awesome !
Just what I am looking for, need a pup~
Thanks all for condolences, the funeral is over, I am OK.
To tell the truth, I have been sobbing on and off for a year about having to put her down, and so maybe just cried out, not all out.
We are off shopping now, I do not know about you all, but we (and the rabbits) are being eaten alive by swarms of no-see-ums worse than I have ever seen, I have at least 5 bites every sq inch, every day, bites on my bites, and no spary is working !!
They are so tiny, they crawl right thru my hair and bite my scalp !!!
Anyone else having a problem and have any solutions ?

This is Kona my brother's chocolate Lab, and my Black lab Samantha, in about the year 2000.
Kona just died a few months ago, after a convulsion in his kitchen...maybe a stroke.
Sam was gorgeous, she is going to be a tough act to follow.
Later, I am going shopping for a tiny bug zapper !

My husband will kill me, but if you cant find a closer home for your little one, I have week old ducklings here, and could either take yours in, or if you would like, I could give you a couple of mine to keep him/her company. Let me know what you think, and if I can help out at all.
