They have been in The Walduck Astoria for a week and they LOVE it!!!!!! They have gotten quite fond of their penthouse suite and the spa pool will be added today! Lucky Duckies!!!

I am so bummed out that I missed the pig roast! I was trying to get the Walduck done early enough so I could run up but time was not my friend! I hope you all had fun!! Hopefully we can do something later this winter ...uh I mean summer....I would love to meet everyone!!

So obviously I got my computer fixed. 1 crashed hard drive and 1 blown memory card thing and $312.00 later! Ugh....'

Had a end of the school year party\\bonfire last night with 30 teenagers! It was great!! I love my kid's friends! I had my DJ gear out and the music jamming and had my lights flashing around up in the trees! AWESOME!!! Nothing beats a basketball game at 11:00pm in the dark!!!

I bought a used horse water trough. The shallow half sized kind. I am putting that in with some bricks in it instead of a wading pool. Now I am trying to find a small sump pump to make cleaning it out a bit easier!

When I have everything totally finished I will put up another pic!

See dogs CAN get along with ducks! Even if the they are bred for hunting! Our lab is more of a fish retriever!


My soon to be a veterinarian daughter hand feeding the quackers! We like the hand feeding method of duck raising!'

Does anyone know the genetic stuff on ducks? '

1) Do my chocolates have a strain of black in them and is that why 2 of them have the irridescent green on their wings?

2) If I have black males and chocolate females what kind of coloration of offspring would they have?

AND

3) If the chocolates do have black bred in them. How does that change things?

Hope someone has some answers! '
