Save what you can for your chickens. They love them.
Besides that more importantly they have natural medicine in them for parasites.
We should be eating the seeds also.​

I didnt know about the natural parasite control with pumpkins! Thank you for telling me. I LOVE to eat roasted pumpkin seed, salted or plain they a nummy.

We're still downsizing due to external factors. I removed the old craigslist ad, as we had a chaotic weekend and I didn't feel up to showing birds to buyers.

DH wants to sell his crested breeds, which are assorted polish/German Spitzthings.../Mottled Houdan/Sultan etc. There are 9, about 8 weeks old or so, pretty sure out of the 9 only two are roosters, but I'm still out on the Houdan. We'd like the group to go together.

Considering selling most of our ducks as well, 3 drakes and 6 ducks (all laying), mostly khaki campbell, couple chocolate runners. I'm keeping back two of the girls and the goose right now.

He has other assorted bantams as well, 6-8 weeks old. Buff silkies, black japanese, white japanese, one white tailed black japanese pullet...

OK, my day didn't start out so well. Went out to the coop for feeding and watering, etc... Gallo (our EE roo) felt the need to attack me... Oh, my gosh, he has never been so relentless to me. I ended up covered from head to toe in mud splatters, plus a few scratches on my shins from his spurs. He has ticked me off no end. Right now, he's in a small cage in the shed where the cats live until I decide what to do with him. I can't deal with an A-hole roo. I have enough other roos, I don't need him. Anyone want an attack roo? I don't care if you eat him or what. I just don't think I can kill him myself. Maybe if I can't get rid of him... He's good to his girls, but terrible with people. He's attacked my boys before also. I can't have that.

Anyway, I'm out of the shower now and eating my breakfast, trying to relax at the computer. I don't know why, but I have the VeggieTales theme song stuck in my head. lol. I need to listen to something!
