It is rare to have talent with watercolor as she does.
Most ppl take classes for years and never get it.
I have never had any art classes out of Jr High...from there I went into Architecture, and never finished that past 1st year of CC as motherhood called

But I kept at it and taught myself my own way...when the house is done I intend to have a few for lessons each year.

We have 6 ducks brooding at present, three of which are sharing the same nest - I have no idea how they are going to split up the ducklings. We may have to pop those in the brooder come hatching. Meanwhile, we're working to ensure proper enclosures to keep the new ducklings safe and sound.

Anyone in Western Washington looking for ducklings? We're likely to have Swedes, Khaki Campbells and a few mixes of the two!

yep I can stay up as long as I want, wander off to bed when feel like, a get up when I open my eyes up again. I think it was about 5am or 5:30 before I closed my eyes. I looked at the clock about 9 am and decided that I needed to close my eyes again. I was out of bed before noon though.

I am awake. I even made coffee this morning. When you stay that late I got to talk to people on the other side of the planet. I think the last guy I was talking to was in Nova Scotia. He bought a really cool old wood incubator.


I think the party will be over. I think DH will be coming home

tonight and he goes to bed early.

Been looking at the longcrowers...most are from Russia and the slavia-countries.
There are alot of them, never heard of them until now and apparently they suffer the same low fertility as the other Polish and such birds...odd.

I'm not really "washington" but everyone from around here seems to group Coeur d' alene with spokane - I am on the backside of the lake towards Carlin bay


BTW - Wolf Lodge is the BEST place to eat - we have them on speed dial for reservations

Welcome Kelebek you are right about Coeur d' alene being part of Washington. I know every map says it is Idaho. But the reality is that it is a suburb of Spokane.
