Take the skins, rub down with salt and borax, and stake to a cardboard, with quilt pins, stretching tight...skin out...and wash or scrape any really nasty goobers...flytiers will buy full grown rooster pelts. They must have the fully formed hackle though.

One learns something every day. . . I didn't know anyone here had Celiac. I know it's a terrible thing to have, but honestly it's nice to know others who have it. I don't, but my whole family (other than me) has it, and so I'm kinda in on the no-wheat bit. I also cook a lot for them, which really broadens my cooking mind. I LOOVE rice-based recipes!

I forgot to call about your water tanks, but we have several here already and will call after the 2 we ordered for you, in the morning, so tired from well digging, and nice to know I am not the only one with CD... us Celts are out there..... I also have Wilson's Syndrom complete with Raynaud's syndrom...bad in the cold.
I also want to say as diseases go, I am glad I have the one I have.
I get a 45" waistline and alot of pain most of the time, but I am alive, I can walk talk and fuction...living without certain foods is not the end of the world, there are way way worse diseases to have !!!

I love Quinoa so much I'm growing a crop of it next spring.

- Both to improve egg color and diet of my chickens and also for us. I tried this year, but for some reason not one single seed even germinated.

The eggs, yes, I was meaning to PM you about them . . . . I've had some troubles in the past few days with a duckwing cockerel getting loose and running around with the girls, HOWEVER, so far few of my Araucana boys are successfully fertilizing my pullets/hens without getting their vent feathers trimmed, SOOO. . . . It is at your risk to continue on with getting eggs from me.

I still am, though, hatching some eggs - And those of course are purebred, and even if they aren't - I'll know before they're sold.

This photo was taken within 5 minutes of me noticing the hives... This "one" spot grew to cover her entire arm. She had a 6" circle around her belly button, both of her thighs were completely covered. Within 2 hours of onset of hives, it had reached her cheeks.

OMG I hope it is not this...it is rare to have a bullseye rash....
or this, although you know it is not the end of the world by any means...

The best bullseye rash I have ever seen was on me, about 100 of them when I woke up the morning after I ripped all the tendons out of my L knee...immunal system was really PO'd to say the least...Lupus is greatly effected by Sunlight as well....and has no 'center ' to the bullseye and comes in may forms.

Nope it was nothing like iether of those. And as I sit here typing, Chloe is clear of all hives! We will see how it goes on friday.

I'll be there as an exhibitor. I also rented a booth and will have some silkies and white runners for sale as well as show crates. Pips and Peeps (Jean Ribbeck) will also be there and some other great exhibitors that are worth meeting but aren't on BYC.

My name is Jenni and, although I have a big test next week and plan to study, it seems I always end up running about at shows helping out.

...the only reason I'm still up is that I'm finishing up with bathing 9 of the birds I entered. Only three to do tomorrow. I doubt I'm going to have time to do the sale birds

. Time is too short and nursing school is keeping me busy. Long clinical day and then grand rounds tomorrow on palliative care.

Is anyone watching this thread a nurse?

Scrub a dub dub 9 birds in a tub. I am sure that there is more to this nursery rhyme. I wish I could go, we even have dear friend that live nearby and they would love for us to come visit.
,
Chickie is an RN I think. I am just a mom that got my kids to go away and be contributing members of society.
