Yes, and they just keep breeding...the population is soaring...and the laws are making it very very hard to feed anyone...

Thanks Tailfeathers for your excellent input!
I spoke with my sister a few minutes ago to check on the chick, and I'm fuming right now. She told me the chick is barely breathing and looks like it's going to die. Rather then culling it and putting the poor thing out of its misery, she's going to let it slowly die! I told her she really should do the humane thing and she acts as though she can't be bothered with it. Grr!!

I guess what I'm really mad about is the fact that literally in one day, she bought 4 goats and ordered 15 chicks without knowing the first thing about caring for them and without doing ANY research. There's nothing I hate more than irresponsible animal owners!! Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox now...

Yes there are tribes of people all over the world that can eat nothing but dairy (usually goats) or how about those Africans that drain blood from their herd of cattle and eat that ? It is their mainstay protein and has been for thousands of years....it is what they have evolved to be able to digest.
Some people can live on bugs...But in this day
I can drink goat and sheep's milk all day long, but I cannot even LOOK at cow's milk without getting blaoted and very pain-ridden.
It is not a sensitivity, it is my immunal system that can see that is from a cow, it reacts and attcks, and in the process, scalds the intestine, throat and esophagus.
What we have today is called GLOBALIZATION...in which every race is in one country eating a bunch of crap that their intestinal systems have never seen before...and each of us is hurting from this.
We need to eat what our bodies have evolved to eat..and give our bodies time to evolve to digest fast food and the other crap here.
If I ate nothing but a 19 century Scottish farmer's diet, I would not ever be sick.

Alright, you're here!

While you're at it, could you tell me - Do you still breed Boerboels?

I LOOOVE the breed, but finding a good breeder is so hard and I love your original dogs.

Well my foster girls are happily out of the mud!

I brought in another yard of sand, pulled up the 4 mats layered in the sand about 4" deep, and put the mats back... Ah its gonna be so nice to not have 6" of mud anymore!
