If I was being chased by that dinosaur, I would be running as fast as I could go.

That is stoooooooooopid...they have no meat on them!!...but the reproductive organs on them and monsterous...we have had Chihuahuas all my life, and they are the hmmm most sexulaly active, snappy arrogant and annoying little bastardos in existence.( in the doggie world that is..)..they KNOW they are cool, and they do not know they are small, no dogs recognize size...take Justbugged's Puppy Komondork for example...always getting beat up by the Yorkies...but Terriers are terrors...my brother has a female Scotty ...and she loved to run UNDER his male Lab and nip as she went...poor Kona chocolate lab...always sore and the wee Scotty running circles around his parts...She is so awesome, and so viscious, a rat or coon (or larger dog) would have no chance around a scotland terrier.
But raise Chihuahuas for food ???

Chickens are ancient dinosauers, and related to lizards, same scales, same hatching eggs, same everything including the same salmonella in the digestive tract as Iguanas and other lizards.
Birds developed feathers and warm blood, but retained the ability to lay eggs...

Cowgirl grace what a beautiful video !
Nature and NO People !!! Yeah!!!
Not any cities, just pure un-human-infested nature !
Think about it.
And everyone quit picking on our Illia !
She is a bird genious, we need to all listen to her...like I said, I want Vulterine Guineas in the worst way !!!!!!

Come on guys, these birds are so beautiful ! They do need the knitted stocking caps or mad bomber hats we discussed a week ago.....

these birds are so spectacular and highly prized for their feathers, and rare and endangered in a few countries where they are native...
are they beautiful or what ?
Last time I looked (a few months ago) they could not be imported here, but as supplied with a new link, I will look/see...

OK, besides dear DH home, we got up this morning and went to Cabelas, returned the extra generator, dropped 5 dozen eggs off for friends and clients..nice to know it (5 days of eggs) pays for the feed (a month or more) and then we went to the Gluten Free Joe's...looking for pizza mix they did not have, went to Scott's Patriot Farm and he incidently likes Dellana (so you know her ? he asked...I said do I ????????

) Ha ha...got my feed and am home, and have not unloaded the 3 incubaotrs, 2 cabinets and one flying saucer, one cabinet is new, plexiglass model, one is antique and absolutely awesome..solid hardwood 'Farm All" model...will uncover them and take photos tomorrow...in the meantime, good luck to you all, and try Patriot's feed, it is wonderful !
I should have taken the camera today when he was out milling with his chicldren...and the smell and fresh air were wonderful...big giant bags of seed, and his vitamins and all goes into the mill, his son running the tractor, his daughter running the fork lifty-thing...dumping grain into the mill...and incidently, I printed off 10 pages of the winter brisk poster...and gave one to Scott...he is now thinking of contacting them to set up a venders display...and show some of his birds!
I also hung winter brisk posters at 2 feed stores in Montesano, and one at Olympia, and a few in Chehalis that had no idea it was happening...and when I got home I printed out 10 more posters and I will tack them up tomorrow...Winter Brisk YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! And hopefully Korfuskluckers will let Patriot Farms show his wares there, we talked and I suggested he hand out sandwich ziplocks of feed out, post with the ingredients...and milling date, this is no stored rancid feed.

well erm.. nope..

Chihuahuas were bred as rat hunters and then used as royal bed warmers..
tongue.png

They are so smart they have the humans doing every little thing for them some don't even have to walk! pampered pooches.... wish someone would pamper me

but that's just my opinion

never thought about the fact that European rats(originally asian rats)etc did not come over in droves till 1500 or later. but then the Chihuahua is believed to be a mix of the Techichi (native dog in that area) and small rat hunting dogs from the explorer ships (hence why I said ratters) the Techichi was used for many reasons including religion etc and I think the Mexican hairless might also be a mix of Techichi and the Chinese crested dog that was on a lot of Spanish explorer ships.

in reality the Chihuahua history is all theory and there are plenty of them. I have no doubt they were used for food by some but In general I think most were pampered royal dogs as the Mexican Hairless was it its hayday. They also have a large prey drive which leads me to believe they were hunters of some sort either to feed themselves or to keep the owners area free of critters.

My mom's little 4lb Chihuahua is more dangerous to our birds and critters then my 40lb kelpie who has chase instincts but no kill instincts.
The little booger has killed 2 quails whom fly out of the brooder while we were cleaning the cages. and there is no preventing it because she is fast and pounces like any ratter dog I've seen. We have since locked her in a crate when we clean the babies since we can not move as fast as she does.

again this is all in my opinion as there is no proof positive of the history of chihuahuas
