I hope Scott likes me as I'll be buying over a ton of feed! Granted most will go to others as they pick it up... our poor 1/2 ton van will be riding the tires with a ton of feed in the back. But it is the easy, dry, safe place to store the feed as my garage needs rebuilding and I don't have enough barrels to hold that much feed.

I have found that as long as I am selling my quails and chicks I make enough to cover feed bill for my birds but soon hope to add eggs to the mix and maybe come out even with supplies too.

**I'm still on the hunt for a 20-25' cargo container if anyone knows one that is for sale. I hate the large cargo stores that go around buying containers from people and etc then turn round and sell them for 2-3 times the price after a paint job

I really need to empty the garage and rebuild it but with no dry place for stuff I can't

Hey TaraDee, I'm looking for a processor around Seattle too. If anyone knows of a processor in the area please post... I can't find anything on CL or the web.

just kidding....I only know there is a butcher down around Chehalis someplace that processes...we did just have an heads up for a freezer camp class to butcher your own, but that blew by me as well...sorry

I have been a poultry processor several times now, but for me to do it I require participation from anyone that wants the deed done. Now I just have remind myself, that I am just a stay at home puppy mama. But I am willing to try just about anything, at least once.

If I was being chased by that dinosaur, I would be running as fast as I could go.

I imagine those suckers can run pretty darn fast, too! Just look at those muscular thighs! LOL

In that case if I run into one of those dinosaur chickens, I am going to be chicken feed for sure.

Okay I finally figured out how to download the pictures from the new to me camera. I feel kind of dumb after DH ask me why I didn't just that the SD card and pop it in to the laptop. Well duh, turns out that works really well. So here are some pictures of my shaggy crew.

This is the Chipper. He was born Jan 9th 2009 He is 11lbs, and my shadow. He follows me around and seems to be a worry about me a lot. He follows me very closely when I mow the lawn. I think he think that noisy thing is going to get me.

Here is Chips looking at me. I think his eyes are scary in this picture.

This Teddie. I don't know of a more un-photogenic dog than he is. Teddie is 5lbs, and is the daddy to all the puppies.

This is Miss Gabby. She is about 6.5lbs, and is the mommy to the puppies that live at my house. She seems to never get enough loving. She is very sweet, and can't sit still in your lap to save her life.

This Puppy, he is a very interesting dog. I have found that most dogs that meet puppy seem to understand that they are smaller than the Big Dog.

I can bring a organic salad. The greens are coming along very nicely in the greenhouse. I ate my first salad with the greens tonight. They were yummy, and I even shared some with the little tweets in the corner. The finches made quick work of them.

It is a shame that Yorkie puppies don't stay this sweet. The kids are tussling right now in the family room.

That makes a total of 3 fertile eggs, and I think I'm gonna cull the others tonight. I've only got one dozen eggs waiting to be put in the bator, but hopefully I'll have plenty more by tomorrow or the next day.
