The Siskiyous Pass can turn nasty right about Thanksgiving usually...but so far has been nice...do the weatherchannel.com and ask for the 10 day forecast for Medford, Yreka and Redding...and Mom and Dad will put you up over night and talk your ears off, and show you their whole Pheasant Pharm...Pheasants are all gone though...his buddies have them and the chukars down the road...but he has big 7 X 10 foot pen panels that he made and can attach them all together, or unscrew and move somewhere else, I would LOVE to have them !

Ok you guys! 8 pages in under 24 hours! REALLY!?

How am I supposed to keep up!!?

Cleaned the duck run in the rain today again! It always seems to rain on the days I clean! It was so fun though! HUGE earthworms were wiggling everywhere and I kept throwing them to the quackers and watched them run crazy after eachother! Fun Fun Fun!

The cold and damp is starting to really bug me! Sore and achy!

Need to get the woodstove cranking and get it up to 85 in here so I can make a soy vanilla ice cream and soy egg nog milkshake!!! YUMMO!

Hopefully I can check back before next weekend and 100 more pages!

I saw a knitted duck hat at the Puyallup Fair. It was cute as could be! I of course had no money at the time and when I went back the lady had sold it! The lady who made it was no longer there and the woman had no contact info for her!!

Does anyone make any? I want a black one with a gray bill as the brim of the hat. The one I saw had webbed feet dangling at the end of the ties!

gotta beg off for the night...the second Java to pip is stuggling still...the first is running around crying with no buddies...and this is day 19 !!!!!!!!!!!! So in the next week will be infested with over 30 chicks...Javas, Silver Cuckoos, BBS Marans test eggs...and a few odd ball Cuckoo (Elvis) X Ms. Wyandotte (HA! Ought to lay a big brown egg !) and Cuckoo Marans X Light BRahmas as they are penned toether for winter....Big Cuckoo Brahmas ......Scarey there.Illia never did critique my blue Ameraucanas...you guys scared her off by insulting her Shamos chickens....

There is a dial on the side that rolls the inner wire rack, and thus the eggs roll...has auto water adder...looks cool, and kids would love this kind of bator.
