Heather, how will you trasnsport them (her eggs), just keep them warm(?) and I have a bator going and nest boxes warm and a great coop ready !!

Folks I have cleaned up this thread considerably. There are some things that just don't need to be discussed on BYC. I'm sure you know the topics I speak of. We pride in keeping this entire forum, including the Washington part, suitable for all ages to read. We also do not allow name calling or flaming and the rules specifically discourage religious discussion. This includes proselytizing.

I need to get my egg turner built in the new wine cooler incubator!
I have been testing some of my button and coturnix eggs in there and the temps are perfect! 99-101!

Well I thought I could take off my boots for the night but as I sat down I looked at the thermometer and saw 27*

Red flags hey you forgot to cover that outside faucet. DANG IT JIM !!!!!!!!!! So off I went to find some thing to cover it with. Well lets see this bucket will work but I need something to put in it. Since we no longer have any need to have hay I guess I will have to get some from the neighbor. I just saw her leave for work so I know I will be safe stealing hay. That's the cool part of her working nights. It makes it so easy just like when I stole her chickens.

OK so she is more like family ( since I don't have any) and she would seriously hurt me if my water froze because I didn't go get a couple handfulls of hay from her barn.

We pulled in the hoses, emptied duck pools and wrapped up the faucet on the house.

Temp now is 26, but feels like 16, like I would go outside in either temp if I didn't have to.

Why do they do that?

The duck garage is holding at 35 degrees. Awesome!
