Depending on how big the order gets next delivery should be in 2 months (beginning of January) But if I get a lot of orders I'll talk with Scott and see if we need to work on a monthly schedule.

The layer feed is great and is more a crumble/powder.

Hope everyone is doing good with all this winter weather dumping on us. The kids are loving the snow and my chickens kept milling around looking for the white stuff that was falling from the sky but vanishing (was not sticking yet). It was funny to watch... they kept giving me the stink eye since the stuff was falling but there was nothing to eat.. what the heck?

My goats voted it was a day to stay inside! My dog (older pup) also decided it was a curl up on the bed day and would give me the "yeah right... in your dreams" look when I asked if she wanted to go out.

33F outside and snow falling.

Lucky for me I got the joy of getting to work and heading home tonight when the snow has had a chance to stick and freeze.

Got studded snow tires ? I hope...the city can be a grump when it is frozen slush...so many who cannot afford good winter tires have to drive anyway and often the cause of big muti-car accidents.
I am glad I no longer have to commute..

I obviously am not reading the entire post. I PM'd you with my order. My girls are on a mixture of layer and starter right now because they are just coming to the end of a molt, so they are good right now. So is the next order around the end of Jan. ish?

Well, speaking of goats, . . .

My "goat barn" has a plastic roofing that is completely transparent. So, it's not only bright in there - but it's really good for keeping warm in when its rainy, cold, or winy outside. However, this is how dark it is when there's snow on the roof.

My Yak stands guard over the doorway, but all my goats and several chickens are in there. . .

I have bought Jack a new bed for indoors.
I will not allow him to sleep outside in his dog house in this weather.
Plus he is a typical goofy pup dog, and does not know when it is time to get out of the frozen slush...and dogs can get snow packed in their fur between their toes and it can cause yerrible frost bite.
So, doofus has been brought indoors, on a leash tied to the dresser leg has his new bed and bowls and it absolutely excited to the point where I fear he will break his tail banging furniture !
And he is wet and stinks !!!

I considered a spa day for him...but I know he will roll and waller in the mud as soon as I let him back out to run and do his business.

How goes the school bus driving today or was a snow day called ?
I thought of Zgoatlady also...driving a school bus in this weather is a nightmare...hope all is well.
I am not sure about here, but Bellingham said tonight will get to 21.

DH IS BUSY FINISHING A TIN WALL AROUND HIS WOOD STOVE HE REBUILT GOT FROM MY BROTHER, AND IS LEARNING IT IS NOT A SPACE HEATER

DARN the caps button....he needs to attend 'woodstoves 101' class....he is terrified it will get out of hand...
******************I also wanted to say that I noticed Terrie's duck has changed his attire yet again from an orange summer duck bill to a Halloween black duck bill and now it has a snowy duck bill CUTE!!! A duck of all seasons...can't waite to see the next 'outfit' he has !

CR is picking up some bags for Weavagarden before the Winter Brisk, I may need some more too but do not think so, anyway I will get Weavagarden's order from CR and bring it up to Hoquiam to her so she and her Mom will have some feed also.
