am aware of that.. but the descent weather places are FAR FAR from here...

I have been in the IT field since 1997 mainly web design and web applications, but I also know databases, networking and computer repair and support.
I guess we are doing it Bass ackward, first we will find the a place to live them I will find the job.

BYC is doing its winter cleanup and deleting a lot of the chatty threads. So that may explain your personal post count drop. There was a notice a couple days ago.

That's a problem with this county = no jobs.

Even qualified people = no jobs. If you have any college you're probably over-qualified for 99% of the jobs here...it's sad...

I love it over there and we thought hard about buying in the Tonasket area. The deciding factor was employment. I have to work, my hubby runs the household, all the "farm" duties, and he can do or fix about anything to make a few dollars. But my income keeps us stable and the idea of giving up a fairly secure job in this economy would be stupid on my part. Maybe someday.
