That's a problem with this county = no jobs.

Even qualified people = no jobs. If you have any college you're probably over-qualified for 99% of the jobs here...it's sad...

I love it over there and we thought hard about buying in the Tonasket area. The deciding factor was employment. I have to work, my hubby runs the household, all the "farm" duties, and he can do or fix about anything to make a few dollars. But my income keeps us stable and the idea of giving up a fairly secure job in this economy would be stupid on my part. Maybe someday.

Yeah...I just need to win Powerball! LOL

Fertility is way better then that. so far I have had only 1 clear egg.
I think the problem was the cold snap and my foam bator not being able to keep up with the right temps. I then went and bought a space heater and that brought the temps back up quicker then I'd have liked in the room

I'm hoping that some are late but I've a feeling my bator struck again. I'm going to give them a few more days then do eggoptsy and tell you the true fertility.
I'll be making the turner etc for the wine bator before I hatch more as the wine bator has been stable even during the cold snap.

Are you going to be able to do the show this week end ?
Is there anyone up there you can travel with ?
If so, let me know and I will bring you the antique flying sauca-bator

I can't go to the show as I work weekends

I tried to get it off but with the new schedule change I was not able too. Maybe someone from here is going and can bring it back for me?

I don't think I lost any posts. . . .

. . . . Nevermind, looks like I lost a few in the Gabbard Farms thread. Didn't realize it disappeared, but I completely understand why it did.

Oh, and people going to the show - BRING BACK PHOTOS.

Boy am I glad my chicken coop is too big to fit through my dog kennel door! I was hoping to keep them in the kennel when the yard is soggy. I tried keeping the snow off it, but there was just enough snow left on it so that the tarp was starting to sag. Then it rained and rained and rained yesterday and this morning. Sometime today the entire thig collapsed. The roof supports bent and when the roof collapsed, the sides of the kennel shot out. SO much for that $1,000 kennel I bought at Costco last year! I need to find someone who can bend the panels back into shape and put a better roof on it.

My family thanks you for serving!

Your welcome. I spent 8 years in the air force and learned a good trade in the health care field that has made me a living for 42 years.

Want to retire soon and be full time duck and chicken farmer.

What you could do is take pictures of the show and the people and post it for us.

Cold today we got your storm you had four or five days ago. bob
