Good grief !
You guys are staying motels and having spas and wine ???
WOW...here I am having a semi-freezer camp today.
Chicken Rustler could have rented out rooms and offered a spa day and honey bee class at his house this weekend and made some bucks !!!
Next year I will show, this year I have some outstanding birds but just have not had time nor the proper knowledge to show...I will pick brains on it tomorrow...see you all then, and my haircut os OK, albeit really really short (think Demi Moore in Ghost) ha!
If I were only that cute !
Goodnight all....and anyone else wanting any olive egger at the point of lay, PM me now or in the early morning !

Because this show is two days, the people exhibiting need to spend the night because their birds don't coop out until Sunday. That's the main reason we didn't show this time around!

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! I'll have my hair up in a clip and be dragging my 9 yr old and 11 yr old DD's around!

So we will show next year together !
See CR could have sold rooms out to BYC people !!!
So, you cannot coop in, drive home to spend the night in Seattle, and then drive back the next day?
Guess you could by why?
When you can make a spa weekend out of it

I'll have my boys with me too. They're 5, 7, & 10... I'll probably wear my Ohio. State. Sweatshirt tomorrow. My hair is always. In a bun thing. I need a haircut badly.

YES!!!! We should all totally plan to do it next year! That would be a blast. My oldest DD showed just one bird at the Monroe show last spring. I think we'll enter more birds there this year since we live in Monroe and it's only a 1 day show it's easy peasy for us. It will be practice for the Chehalis show next year!!!

We have two olive eggers and they are really fun. I have people from 4-H ask me all the time what laid that egg???? We now have our BCM/GCM cross hen who just started laying two weeks ago, and our lavender Ameraucana roo. I plan to cross them when the Lav Am's start laying and see what I get from it.

Heather- We'll miss you at the show! OK, I'm putting my camera in my bag right now so I don't forget it!

Just a question on the show for those who have been there. I'm looking at the show flier and it doesn't mention times for the auctions? Just wondering when they end? We were planning to arrive around 11:00 and stay until 2:00 or so. I'm wondering if there are birds for sale or auction birds that I am interested in, can I take them home that early? TIA!
