Get zip ties and zip tie the belt loops together in back...that is what they are doing in some schools now.
And congrates on loosing so much weight !

Zip ties are a good idea! I have a belt, but am elergic the the buckle, so I only wear it when we go out. Not when I am at home. Its sad too, cause I really love my belt. It is the one thing that I have left from my grandad. Beautiful hand tooled acorn patern, made by my grandad when the family lived in Minnesota. Its special.

Yep its done that to me also. Shut it off and 15 minutes later when I go to leave the barn, it wont start. But then a few minutes later it will...

If the truck is leaking coolant into the cylinders as DH said, then eventually so much coolant will leak in that cannnot be start, the starter will be unable to compress the water filling the cylinders, water cannot be compressed, ever.
So it will be unable to turn over, period, for ever. Dead. Locked up, "Hydraulicked" is the term used for an engine with blown head gaskets (or intake manifold gaskets) that has such a bad leak as to fill the cylinders with coolant.
It would never start again.
Has to then be towed and rebuilt.

Well Ive told my DH that the truck isnt to be ran... At least not until we get it worked on, or decide to sell it. He agreed to pay for the valve cover gaskets, but if that isnt it, then I got to sell it. The truck still runs strong when its running, but I'm not gonna chance it locking up completely. I would rather have it sit and look pretty until I can get it worked on. Its a really nice truck, and the motor only has 57,000 miles on it. Really the only thing I need added to it once its fixed would be the full tow bar. Other than the motor problem, its perfect for me. And this entire situation sucks big time. lol

I will keep my eyes open and see what I can find. Do you want a specific color or will any color work for you? Also do you care about the size of bottles?

I talked to the wine steward at my local Safeway, and she was able to point out some differently coloered bottles. Also there are some larger beer bottles that are unusual. And I bought a couple at the dollar store. Michaels also has decorative bottles. I looked online, but they seemed very expensive.

When we moved out to Enumclaw from Renton, we had a little Datsun pick-up. DH and a few of the guys put the dog house kind of in the bed of the truck and had me drive out here. It is about 30 miles from the house in Renton. Also the dog house was bigger than the pick-up bed. The guys built it for a Mastiff cross, and a Newfoundland. Well that was the last run for that truck. I saw the head gasket blow while I was climbing out of the Green river gorge on Maple Valley HWY. I figured that if the truck was still running that I was going to go as far as could. I made it to this house with it, and I don't think that it ever ran again. It really wasn't worth putting anymore money into it. DH missed that truck for a long time.

We have the tools to do the work, but I doubt that my DH would want to do the work. If he is around he is a great teacher. He is a master mechanic, and specializes in concrete pumps. He is the nations top trouble shooter and trainer for Putzmeister concrete pumps. When the engineers mess things up, DH is the guy that has to fix it and make it work.

My SiL is always finding hurt and injured crows, and he will take them home and rehab them. I will have to see if they can take pictures next time.

My thought about the light at night is that since chickens have near zero visibility at night I didn't want them milling around and then boom boom out go the lights and they cant see to roost.

I turn the light off last night after dark. For some reason it was on after dark. The some of the girls ended up milling around, and at about 3 in the morning I heard one of then singing an egg song. I know how keep the dogs quite, but have yet to figure out how to shut up a hen that is yelling int the middle of the night. I need to make sure my timer is working correctly.

I really like the idea of the solar powered Christmas lights. I will have to look for them. I wonder how well they will work in Western Washington.

thrift stores, Goodwill, Value Village will have colored bottles. I had my poor husband drinking who knows what because it came in colored bottles.
