Well, today here, it is cold...frigid....icy..(whatother cold words can i think of?)....My Roo and his clan all have their gloves and fur parkas on. BRRRRRRR!!!!!

Here is a question for all the E WA folk. A lot is personal preference and I have to say I do get tired of the rain on this side but we moved from So Cali where I could not stand the heat, dead, dry, no water, no trees etc. So we traded for the rain and trees and water and green. I have not been all over E Wa. Mostly just the drive straight from West to East (Pullman) and back in the summer. A few irrigated fields of hay and a few clumps of trees but for the most part, from what I saw was a bunch of dead, dry nothing, nothing, nothing forever and ever. I've been to Wenatchee and there are a few fruit trees but still not green, just deadness. Lake Wenatchee was nice though. I'm sure in the spring it comes to life just like So Cali but once the rain stops it turns right back to desert. So my consenses is people who prefer E Wa to W WA pretty much prefer living in the desert? If thats not the case where are the nicer areas of E Wa? Oh been to Leavenworth. Thats ok too but everything was dead on the way there.

I grew up in Portland and yes--it's green and pretty but I could not stand the 9 months of solid grey skies and varying types of rain.
