Well, thats what I've been trying to find out. I had asked a while back and also on other threads if anyone has fed dry dog food and haven't heard if anyone has actually done it yet.

I had a hen that ate dog food, but not by my choice. She had figured out how to go though the doggy door.

Cat food has a higher protien content in it than dog food. I do not know if this is why people sudgest cat food over dogfood, but I do know that niether one will hurt your flock. My four girls have gotten in the habit of sneaking over to my mothers front porch and eating the dog food, and they are just fine. Now granted they don't eat a ton of it, but they do pick through it to get to what they want.

It was a rough night for me. Chloe didn't go to sleep until 4AM... And by that time I was overly tired, and couldnt fall asleep. Yay for me, running on empty today. Guess I will be snoozing at some point in time today.

Sis & I just knowing we are here and are helping got a good night sleep!

I'm kinda bummed out that I might be missing all the fun snow! Believe it or not it is actually chilly down here! Well, for down here.

Capri's and a tshirt weather is cold here!

I will get some picture of the sun and post them on here tonight so you all don't forget what it looks like!
