Chickielady! I did contact another realator, and she says she will look into it for me, and see just whats going on with the place. She said there had been no updated information on that house/property for at least 3 months... So here to hoping.
If you are not being helped by the original Realtor - fire her. Go to the new one. Have her look into the status - there are lots of things that could be going on and it is possible that the sale could tank. Also, talk to your NEW Realtor about possibly putting in a backup offer. If the seller will agree to this, you could write up an offer that would be in second place and if the first one tanks, you would already be in there. Do know, that if you put in a second offer and find another house - be careful...if you make an offer on another house withoug rescending the second place offer on the first home....You may find yourself buying 2 houses.
If this home's (the one you want to buy) sale is contingent on the sale of another home....and you can come in with a clean offer....you may be able to bump the first offer.
