I have two leghorn type chicks available that are a few days old, they are straight run, I hatched them in my incubator if anyone needs a couple chicks.

I am going to go to the Monroe show, I never been to a chicken show and would like to go. I went to teh rabbit show in Monroe last spring or winter, and the wife and I found out she is allergic and we had to leave. So far she isnt allergic to birds.

I have a question for those who have gone to the Monroe show before. (Since the catalog still isn't up and available on the website). I'm trying to book my hotel, but I don't know how late things go on Saturday - am I going to want to stay over until Sunday, or drive home Saturday night?? I'm planning on driving up Friday afternoon.

Do we want to plan a dinner Friday night???

Hi Everyone, I posted earlier but got sidetracked and didnt see any replies, so I will try again

I am looking for a serama hen or pullet for my lone rooster larry. larry had a flock of full sized orp girls to watch over but a new rooster moved in and he is a big blue orp. Larry was really upset and tried to flog the big roo off of his favorite girl but went unnoticed. So my DH says (I dont want any chickens) that larry needs to have his own girl its only fair. Would anyone have just a pullet or hen that I could buy? nothing special just around a B size or close. Larry is a B and he was doing such a great job with the girls and now he is bummed that he is no longer in command.
I have to go to Tacoma tomorrow afternoon, coming from Monroe. if anyone has a girl they would part with between here and there I could pick up on my way back? or Anyone in the Monroe area? North Bend? Everett?? lol I dont want a show bird or anything, just smooth feathered girl for Larry. Appreciate any leads!!

I would suggest staying TWO nights since you've got such a long drive....I think we got out of there around 4pm or so....

I am planning on coming over Friday afternoon as well. I have Fridays off now so that will work great.

A dinner that night would be awesome....there is a great THAI restaurant on the main drag there....

I can't remember if the coop out is Sunday afternoon or Saturday? It seems like I only stayed one night in a hotel last year, though.
