Of course it was eenie. I forgot that you lurk in the evenings with me. It turns out that eenie is living 2 streets over from me. I had no idea that we were within walking distance of each other. She lives most of the time in Missouri with her mom, but is out here for a few weeks every so many months.

Ya, that dang testosterone! BCM roo will have to stay in a crate for a while. His hens started pecking at his scabby comb and he was so worn out he couldn't defend himself. Every muscle ached. Going to do the same for the BO.

Hi Y'all,

I have a free two-week old Buckeye chick to anyone who wants it by Friday. I noticed last night that it has a cross beak. I was just going to put it down but thought I'd see if anyone wants it first. I'll hold on to it until Friday - or longer if someone contacts me by then.

God Bless,

Hi guys,
Our puppy seems to be sick.

She's going to the vet today. We noticed her eyelids starting to swell on Sunday. Worse on Monday & more so today. Her muzzle started too, lymph nodes. I think it's 'puppy strangles' which is an auto-immune condition. Please hope we get good news.

I saw the brownie thread. I was teasing her that missouri to enumclaw was a long way to go to deliver warm brownies, and I was on the way.

Hopefully it's just an allergic reaction.

Thanks. We just hope we can get her comfortable- she's been crying in pain when I try to get her eye goopies out.

Not sure if we're quite wishing for her puppy energy back, but it'd be nice to see her in good spirits.

Just make sure when you take her in that you leave her in the car, go in and let them know it "could be" strangles, so they can take her straight to an isolation area. Good luck!!
