We have a lot of the same hobbies, only I'm infamous for my hundreds of started and never completed projects .... Something my brother and I both learned from our dad. Drives our spouses crazy.
I also can't dehydrate with sulfer, makes me wheeze. I prefer apricots and peaches with no treatment and other fruit I will use a lemon juice dip. Can't keep apple chips or banana chips in the house ... kids eat them too fast! I usually can Elberta peaches, but the kids refuse to eat the last batch as I hardly used any sugar,
Eeek! Just looked in the mirror after priming the walls, and I look like I have been hanging out under a flock of seagulls! Hope it comes outta my hair!
Ok so it didnt snow thank goodness..

I can't find anymore, we deleted alot of pics and we have since bought a new computer, so had alot of pics on the other one which are on disc somewhere...
But I do have alot of quilts here wrapped in plastic (like Laura) and stored...my favorte being one called 'French Braide" that you have got to try!!
The other favorite is a weave pattern I made for my sone, and I PM'd him to send me photos of it so I can show you, it is an awesome pattern that looks like woven fabric.

This is one talent of my grandmother's I didn't inherit.
I do have a quilt of sorts started though... We have an oversized King comforter, ever try stuffing one of those into a king size duvet cover? Lol! So I got the "bright" idea" to sew together squares from the MANY boxes of fabric I have...I love to sew, even if I can't make a straight line to save my life! I have about 12 16" squares pieced together...I need 49 of them! Each is made with 16 4" squares...those I can get to at least line up and sorta look square.... Anywho, it got hot this summer and other things came up, so that's all I have done right now. When I get the squares all sewed together, I plan on putting a King sized flat sheet on the side that "touches skin" and putting a zipper along the bottom edge for easy cleaning...if I ever get it done! Lol.
