Oh CL I sure wish I could do that. Lucky you... Guess what my husband found today when he was geting eggs for you. One of the hens has 12 eggs she's sitting on under one of the goat feeders. So now I have to go out at night (this weekend) and candle them to see how far along they are, than find a new place for her or kick the goats out of the area..

Pretty quilt! Love the bright colors!

To be honest, I haven't gone out to the front garden in awhile to check on my strawberries, but I know last year I was ripping them up left and right because they had wandered all over! If I have them, I'll pack some up to give you on Sunday Robin! I'm wondering if it might not be too early though?

They are from Gurney's, their Whopper Junebearing one's and get huge and very tasty. Here's a link to them: http://gurneys.com/gurneys-whopper-junebearing-strawberry-/p/17465/

Ogress
, just let me know when you want them!

Found my French Braid stashed away:

I LOVE this quilt and have many pieces left over, it is fast, easy and lovely..and very rare.
It has also been called 'stacked bricks' but French Braid is my favorite.
I also have several chicken applicas'..but they are hand sewn, not geometrical, at all.

Just beautiful CL! My BFF used to make the most gorgeous Amish quilts and I really wanted one. Of course she gave them all away and got bored with making them before I ever got one! Do you know almost 20 years later I still think of them? I know I could find one somewhere else but it wouldn't be made with her hands.

My Mom makes the best, and has shown..and she machine quilts and has even hand quilted then patchwork.
I sew patchwork, and tie off my quilts, technically mine are not quilts.
Quilting is the act of finishing and sewing the layers together, without it, it is a patchwork tied.
Thanks for all the praise, I LOVE quilting and patchworking..we call it patchin' in my family.
I love the Italian quilting too!
You actually cut and stuff the lining under and into the sewing to creat a raised impression in your patchwork.
It is called Trapunto...see here:

It is to die for !!
