No, I don't think so...

Now that we have the schedule, I was actually considering driving home Saturday night...haven't decided yet though...

It's a LONG drive....you could always drive for just a few hours towards home and see how you feel....then decide to stay somewhere along the way. The traffic in Chehalis is always horrid. I swear they've been doing construction or something for the last 25 years there. It always bottle necks....luckily, I don't have to go that way....I booked my hotel room this morning and started filling out my entry forms...

Oh I am in sooo much trouble already and I haven't even started:lol: Good thing I have a easy going guy.
I'll keep my eyes open this summer for when your babies fly the coop! Or if you have a list, I'd like to be on it. Have a great rest of the day!

I'm planning to come to the show for sure.

How do I break it to Mr. Hallerlake that I'm going to need another coop?

Not right now. I took two dozen to work with me yesterday (not just Orloff, whoever was laying) and the rest all in the fridge.

If you'll be at the show next month I can certainly bring you some at that time...I will need at least one fertility tester anyway.

Yeah, I'm just thinking about the birds all having to spend the night in the car in crates....I dunno, I'll probably stay anyway, I'm always so tired after a show and getting up so early, and I already have Sunday off, it'd be no different than if they were shipping somewhere in a box...less time actually...

Seems the whole Spokane area has burst at the seams trying to get chicken ords. passed! I was watching the noon news (something I never do) and caught a bpil about Deer Park trying to change their ord. as well. I really think it's odd that within Spokane (the city), I can have hens....but the little outlier city's like Deer Park say it's illegal. Of course, I've never been to Deer Parkm it could be a sprawling metropolis...but anywho.

Yep...chickens were in the news at least twice since last night here. I really hope all the comotion over them doesn't cause me too many issues! Also, I got my email from Aslin-Finch the other day...it came with a coupon for pine shavings ($6.97), but doesn't say how much you get for that price! It's good until mid-March I think...

We live in the small towns to get away from the traffic and go figure "25 years of construction" is dead right.

I guess I shouldn't complain cause I don't have to sit in it every day like some of your poor folk do. Kudos to those who do and don't kill anyone.

True it is easier to beg forgiveness than to recieve permission!!!!

That's the way I go at it. Not that I really need to cause DW is always wanting more birds.

Hey if they didn't slow that traffic down nobody would even know Centralia/Chehalis existed. And that mess they call the freeway is exactaly why I go the back roads to town.

Good grief you all are super chatty today!
It must have taken me 2 hours to reat it all and catch up..and it is sunny here, I should be outside working!

***DH has finished mounting the gate ornament CR made for us yesterday, so I have to walk down the road to take photos...
Illia and others.. thanks for the quilt praise
***Zgoatlady...see you on Sunday on my way to Monroe, and anyone in the North up to Monroe who needs anything from Zgoatlady, I can transport, going via Fall City through Duvall.
***By Nature: I have an excalibur, they are FANTASTIC!!
I love how you can set the temperature how you want, and it has so many big drawer-like trays AND a big fan!
reminds me of my Sortsman incubator, so much so that I think it would be easy enough to convert a big cabinet into a dehydrator, fan, element, and make drawers out of nylon window screen.
Drill holes so moisture can escape, etc.
***Rainwolf will have one built in no time, you watch.
What else have I forgotten ?
***Teresa wants a couple cuckoo pullets ?
I can bring them to Monroe Show and hand them off to RFF...
Oh, have just about enough Blue Ameraucana eggs set for now, so anyone interested in some, PM me...and now I had better go lockdown Bolddogkennel's game eggs...and what else....Oh yeah..
***Zgoatlad: Can you bring me a gallon of goat milk with the eggs Sunday ?
wee.gif
Pleeeese ??
Have to stop after that and drop 2 Cuckoo Pullets and Black Ameraucana chicks and kefir grains culture with WA4_HPoultryMom in Duvall..then on to Monroe to visit son/Grandson.
Think I got itall...
I will log on in a little while with our gate ornament photos !!!!
You are all gonna want one !!!

You want great traffic ?
Try Oregon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
barnie.gif

It starts in Vancouver and gets worse in Portland and is stall, stop and crawl all the wat to Grants Pass !!
Most of it is 2 lanes, and they are widening every bridge so the bridges are down to 1 lane North, 1 lane south...It takes longer to drive I-5 through Oregon, than it does to drive from Yreka to San Diego I swear!!!
Super Applesauce !!
Be back soon~~~
