Gorgeous quilts 4H! (all of you!) I should pull out my quilt squares. Mine is all hand-done, but I only have a few squares as I was working on it while traveling; can't seem to find the time. I love my sewing machine, and it is just a $150 viking that was brought in for a special; only drawback is regular Viking parts don't fit it, and I can't find any bobbins for it. Only have the 3 it came with (and lots of others I bought that don't fit.)
I think I have the same glass doors, even the same color as yours. We broke the glass in one and the bill was shocking, but luckily covered by the insurance of the landscaper who broke it (flagstone patio being repaired at the time). Didn't realize I could not just have the local glass guy come out and replace the glass for $100. Had to have the manufacturer's rep come out from Gig Harbor, measure, wait a month, glass arrived wrong size, wait another month....
We had about an inch of snow this morning. Snowing on and off all day, but does not stick to the road, just the plants.
Had a major disaster with painting the coopp insides yesterday. DH was helping, then went into the house without removing his shoes. Paint footprints on the wood floor from one end of the house to the other, all over the wood floors, across a rug a friend bought for me while trekking in Nepal (luckily the pattern is too busy to notice the paint there), and then down the stairs, across the entry hall, and to my garage. He also had paint on his hands, and I can see he went to the kitchen and made himself a ham sandwhich, and toast with butter and honey. The paint is everywhere! Was up past 2 am cleaning it all up, then went to work today (double shift as my replacement called in sick) with paint in my hair! I was soooo tired, I forgot to shower! Anr instead of my purse, I grabbed a bag with DS's dirty PE uniform to take to work! I did manage to get all the paint off. No school next week, so DS will be polishing all the wood floors (and all our floors are either wood or tile as DD has severe allergies.)
