I didnt need to sleep with a bra on. lol Heated blankets are a wonderfull thing! Take a shower, first wrap the egg in the blanket! My bf was shipped off to texas, because he was a trouble maker. lol So I was just a kid, hatching pigeons and playing with my horses. lol And I fed it baby bird food until it was feathered, and then I fed it raw fish, chicken, worms, seeds, ect. lol Remember they have become garbage birds from living around people for so long. Kinda like crows, but not quite as obnoxious.

Why not? As long as you are honest to who ever takes the extras. Plus I really dont think chicks count in the total number of chickens!!!

At least not until they have to go outside where they can be seen. lol

I can drive to my M&Ds tomorrow and get my fold up table, and then DROP it off with WA4-HPoultryMom on Sunday, and she can give it to you from her big ol'van.
And a very big and nice 4x4 SUV it is !
When the show is over, on Sunday, give the table back to her and she can hang onto it until my March trip, OK ?
But what about extra chairs so we can all sit and CHAT??

I can do this! Yes! And I have 4 metal folding chairs I can bring. We can make a sign too if we need too? Cloverleaf, you are doing the Ameraucana table right? Just want to make sure I know what breed! I can come and put the table and sign up on Friday night if you will have your table set up? I can look for it and try and set up next to you. Let me know if that works! So excited the list is growing so long!!!!

Soo... Hypothetically speaking and not naming any names... Say someone got a little Brinsea incubator, and say they found some interesting eggs to purchase to hatch in said incubator, but they were limited by city or county codes as to how many chickens they could keep - is there any harm in maybe keeping one or two that one might favor, and then either selling or giving away the rest? Yes, this is totally fine! You could even SELL the extra's on Craigslist!!!

Hi Chicky, Been lurking but not much time. My niece and her 5 week old newborn is visiting from Ohio for three weeks since hubby just got shipped to Iraq. Been doing baby duty so mom can get caught up on some sleep. Babe was sleeping 3 maybe 4 hours a night when she got here. We've got her up to 5-6 hours. Yippee!

Would love to go to the Monroe show but need to leave in am and be back pm since I'm the only one to care for the eggs, incubators, chicks, chickens, horses etc. DH will throw hay to the horses but doesn't care for the chickens much. So we'll see when the date gets closer.

If you want to make the BYC sign, that'd be fantastic! I'm already making one for each of my breed clubs, and DS is making a breed poster for the contest...

I will be bringing 2, so I will have one extra (DS is 10, he doesn't need to sit! LOL) but I can't fit any more than that in my car...

I will bring as many as I can find/borrow/steal..last time we forgot and had no where to sit which is hard for DH and I..
