Somebody (who ever is closest and can get there early) needs to set up a card table and have 4 or more chairs there, and a paper banner (butcher paper even) with BYC colored acrossed it..maybe WA4-HPoultryMom can get her kids to make one ?
And we can meet up there and chat & introduce ??
In Chehalis we all walked about and no one really knew anyone.
I also will bet Royce will be coming, and Greg, and Eagle ?
Edited to add:
I have a great folding table, but only 1 lawn chair...all my chairs are in California still...we could bring goodies too.
Oh, and everyone please bring something to donate to the raffle !
I am going to get a few things...and try to get there as early as possible to donate the items or would it be better to mail stuff for the raffle to Korfus ?

Not to change the subject, but does anyone here rug braid ?
I want to rug braid in the worst way...something easy I can sit and mindlessly do...while in the car (DH drives

) or watching NASCAR (It can be boring but he loves it, so I tollerate it)
So want to find the best materials, patterns 3 string or 4 ?
Wool or cotton ?
I need some of those cone thingies that roll the fabric..and I would love the recipe to put sticky on the back..so they do not slip, I have seen some that 'dot' 100% silicone on the rug back..it is impervious and just sticky enough to hold it's place on a wood/linoleum floor.
Anyone can bring lotsa chairs, I will bring the table...and some cookies, cupcakes, or ?

I am supposed to have a breed club table set up there - we could just meet up there, I can make an extra sign for BYC! One thing though...I have to bring my wittle tiny car, can I paypal you some $$ to rent me a table if you could bring it in your big ol' van??? I was surprised to see the show catalog said they would have NO tables for breed clubs!!

I'm making a braided rug right now.It is very easy to do.I use cotton for mine.I go to yard sales and Goodwill and get sheets and tableclothes stuff like that and start cutting them in 3in. strips, when I have enough cut (or ripped) I use 3 strips and start braiding.I usually get about 10 ft.before I start hand sewing them but you can wait until you get more.I add on and sew as I go.It is pretty mindless I usually use it as a calm down tool after I get my kids and daycare kids to bed.I'll try later to post a picture if I can figure it out.

I am a mile from Rainwolf. If you stop to see her, let me know. I'd love to meet you, too. Or you could meet Rainwolf here. Maybe Pitterpat Palace could come, too. I could pick up some pastries at Wheatless in Seattle.

There is no show in Monrow this weekend, there is just Chickielady driving up from Raymond to visit her son & grandson...and when I do, I will stop and see Zgoatlady, and then stop and see WA4-HPoultryMom, then around Snohomish and down south on I-5 and maybe stopping at Rainwolf's on the way home.

Alrighty, count me in for the show. Name is Illia, byc name is Illia.

I'll be bringing an Ameraucana too, and another surprise I'm sure you all will LOVE.

Actually, I did that, too, but she forgot to ship them, and now I have to wait until after some show she's preparing for. When I do get them, there will be too many for my tiny incubator. Rainwolf has graciously agreed to incubate them for me. I'm hoping to get half a dozen eggs from a second breeder for genetic diversity. Heather has promised me some Orloff eggs in March, too.

Given that I live in the city, and supposedly have a limit of eight chickens (I was allowed fifteen under the old rules), I have no business getting an incubator, but I couldn't resist. That's what makes me a bad girl. I purposely got the small one so I wouldn't be tempted to hatch too many, but I'd like to hatch a few every year to replace aging birds.

You're better than I....I ordered the eggs before getting the incubator
