No guys yet ?
I am going but do not think I am going to show until either Stevenson or next spring.
We just have too much going on and so many juvenile birds..and the adult birds are either old, or not quite SOP, or too young, or have jobs to do and need to stay here for now.
But I will get there and be there all day & do lunch with everyone.
We doing Thai for lunch or dinner ?
I LOVE CHINESE Food!!
As long as no MSG...stir fry and sweet & Sour is my favorite.
Usually they clean their woks frequently so no cross contamination.
So, what are we going to do for lunch?
Petosa's is a great family style restaurant, so everyone could order what they want, just wondering if there is enough of us (plus spouses & kids!) we may need to reserve a room with a big table!!

Do they still have a Petosas' in Monroe? I thought The Buzz Inn took over the place.I use to go to Monroe all the time with my husband when he played in softball tournaments and the team would all meet at Petosas-good breakfast.

I'll go, as long as I find a comfortable schedule on getting there and back. Anyone know how long the show is? I doubt my family wants to stay a night in Monroe/Seattle area.

Sorry if it seemed like I was into your business. Didn't mean to be! Just got excited about going to my first show! Be nice to meet some of you all in March and get some faces connected to the names. Y'all have been so friendly and helpful!

Kaz and Anders/Kazander Farms - maybe be there, big maybe showing anything this time around

We're kind of in the same boat as Chickielady, most of our birds are too young, we have some good RIR's but my rooster is a bit ragged around the tail. and he has a few too many points on his comb (7) Other than that he's good.

How many of you home school your kids?

We use the K12 curriculum. We have tossed around the idea of using something different when we get out there.

I have home schooled all six of mine. Oldest is getting her AA and diploma at CC right now. She passed her entrance test and is pulling mostly 4.0's so I guess I did OK by her. There is always that fear when you step out to do what others tell you you shouldn't. A lot of people are down on it and aren't afraid to tell ya. Thought I might be messin my kids up but after 15 years of it, I realize it is not that hard. There are days I wished the bus would drive by our house and I could put them on it. But those are the exception. I'm sure there are days they would like to put ME on the bus!!!
My little brother dreamed of being a history teacher. He started his student teaching after getting his BA and found that the kids were so hard to deal with that he getting out.
I guess I'm old school somewhat. I our parents found out we were misbehavin' at school, we got it double when we got home.
So if you drive a bus or teach in PS, without killing anybody, my hat is off to you!
