trying to think of who has a seat..OH I KNOW!! Our neighbor Wayne next door has a Chrysler van like ours, maybe we can unhook the seat and borrow it (they just snap in & out it is easy.

There is a 4-h run clinic and show (but not APA sanctioned show, just fun show) in the TC on March 19th,.. judge will be Bob Anderson, who is working on getting his judging license. Also will have a chick sale, but not sure where they are getting the birds. Last year it was McMurray and Urch.


I won't be able to do lunch, as I need to be near my birds and I try to help out around the show, and I think dinner on Sat is out as hopefully I will be heading home and avoiding more $$$ for another night at a hotel.

Also, no matter the distance, the Stevenson show will be worth it. I live in the Tri and even if I wasn't showing at the Stevenson show in April I would go. As is, I'm co-supervisor of the sale area at Stevenson.

We use the K12 curriculum. We have tossed around the idea of using something different when we get out there.

I have no children...yet. But, I have a cousin in Portland that is using the K12 system and they love it! I've looked into it for my nephews...the oldest is in 1st grade this year and is miserable! He keeps getting into trouble for fighting back when the other boys bully him (daily)! As far as I can tell, the little monsters that are bullying him are getting away with it and aren't being punished at all. He actually got suspended last week for spitting at one of them when they called him a foul name! One that no 1st grader should even know in my opinion!

If (and when) we ever have kids...they are never setting foot in a public school! I wonder if that opinion will get me in trouble when we start looking to adopt, lol.
