Oh, and what's this I hear about me cursing your iron?

I didn't mean to, I swear.

Yep you must have cursed it, because after you left it no longer heats up at all. What is strange is that I was using it when it just quit. But I figure we are almost even since the nasty little dogs bit you finger off.

I did replace the iron with a new140.00 iron made by Reliable, I haven't told DH about that yet. (gulp)

If this new iron leaks, spits, or doesn't get hot enough, I am going to be very very cranky. lol

Actaully, the little teeth marks made a lovely mark that looked like a snake bite. I had LOTS of fun with that.

*Devious laugh*
"Oh, and a snake bit me."
"WHAT??"
"Yeah. It was a rare Yorkie snake. Possibly venomous. Nobody knows yet, they've never been able to catch one."

Um, creepy. I hope that neighbor isn't sizzling anything on the barbie that's going to spatter on him.

That what trellises and vines are for.

Back when my kids went to Charles Wright, I did a lot of driving to places like Enumclaw. Not so much anymore, unless it's to visit an antique store. Mr. Hallerlake is always up for that.

That must have been embarrassing for him; to have nude pictures of him shown at the city board meetings.

My feeling is you shouldn't be doing anything you'd be embarrassed to have known.

Seems like you should be able to report that, since he doesn't have privacy fencing...

They have. They put up arbovitas (sp?) to use as a privacy fence. There is a 6' allowance on privacy fences, but with the decks and his house sits just a hair higher then their's...it doesn't help. They have gone to the city board meeings....he was on the board. They ended up having to take photos (ick

), take notes, keep a record of all the doings of this whacko. He ended up getting kicked off the city board. I dont' remember all the outcome....but we just refer to him as the guy who BBQs nude.

My first husband is Korean. When we were first married, he complained that I wasn't cooking the rice correctly. It wasn't sticky. It turns out I was cooking the wrong rice. I was cooking long grained rice. What he wanted was a short grain rice, like Calrose.

I didn't know your kids went to Charles Wright! That's about 10 minutes from my house in University Place. Small world, huh?
Thank you for the compliment concerning our fundraiser last evening, I'm glad it turned out well, but I don't feel I can take a lot of credit for it. Family teamwork put the dinner together. My cousin Rich manages the shop and I work there part time with him doing sales, a little marketing, and developing new wine names and label designs. We offer the shop for Private Wine Tasting parties and many organizations hold fundraisers there since we offer all of them 20% of all wine sales back to their organization at the end of the evening. It works well for everyone - they make money and it's good word of mouth for us. We just thought maybe it was time we held a fundraiser ourselves to offer a little more back to the community.

It was quite a while ago that the boys went to Charles Wright. We lived in Federal Way back then, but it was still quite a drive, and then socializing with their friends, who came from all over, was a lot of driving, too. I'm not fond of driving, but I kind of miss it. The kids would forget I was there, especially if they had friends with us in the car, and I'd hear a lot more about their lives, likes, and dislikes than I do now.
