What kind of Dorking? The only ones I'm working with are the White RC. Otherwise, I do know someone in Mattawa that has nice Silver Greys.

..I am running out of different colored leg bands for chicks !!

I finally got smart and started using hatching baskets in a seperate incubator just for lockdown..that way I can tell which babies are what..NO MORE SNOW!!!!!!!!

Sure am glad I got my peas planted 2 daze ago. I wouldn't be able to find the dirt with this snow on it.

If ya need to make colored leg bands you can always use RIT dye and white zip ties. Ya just use a disposable container (like a coffee can). Heat the dye to near boiling and dip the sip ties. The longer you dip the darker they will be. And yes the color will stay!!!

OK... so those great summer pics helped me to be distracted from to snow enough to remember something.
If anyone wants some perennials from my yard just let me know and I can bring them to Monroe. I have orange geums, snow in summer which is white and hardy geraniums that have a purple bloom and great red foliage in fall. The geums reseed themselves nicely and the other two spread by under ground roots. All are easy to keep in check though. Just let me know!

Actually I was the hospice caretaker of my MIL when she was dying from lung cancer. She had severe Type 1 D. I got really good at baking her yummy stuff with little to no sugar! I made the last 9 months of her life quite tasty (& happy cuz she spent lots of time with my twins before she passed.)
