Blueducklings-- sometimes we order stuff that needs to be kept cold, so they come in the shipments (I am a tech at a veterinary hospital)

CL- bring MOT, you'll have fun showing him no matter what!

I could try 2? Where would I put it? Next to the eggs?
I'm going to Monroe. I'll meet you there.

Have you noticed if there are a lot of honey bees on these when they are in bloom? I am always looking for things that my bees will like and be able to get some good food from which in turn converts to some yummy honey for me and others.

my raspberries are always abuzz even when nothing else is... they are crazy for rasp-nectar. And borage. And Nicotiana Sylvestris which also smells so incredibly wonderful...And the dreaded Comfrey, but the bees LOVE it like crazy

OK, I am gonna try my hardest to bring MOT, and be advised, he is BIG, and not yet 6 mo old, and trying to get his white fanny in my sink is gonna be a chore..he will probably kill the old chickielay!!
Good night, and I will promise to log on in the morning!!!

Think Spring!!!!!!!!!!!

Thaks for the pictures.
I've almost forgotten what the vege garden looks like.
Oops. I think that is the dirt box I just yanked out to build my new duckingham palace over. Yikes.
Guess I'll have to talk to DH about putting a new garden in for me...lets wait till he is not listening.

Oh I forgot, I have tri-colored sedum coming out my ears and you don't have to water it much yet it hasn't keeled over from our west side sogginess.(and it's very easy to plant...poke a hole, stick in a sprig, and water...that's it!)

What is a tri coloured sedem loooking like?
I have a few bi coloured ones that have cream & green leaves, then the regulay big ones from Home Depot.
I love them. No water necessary.
do you wack it doem to half before it starts to bud for a thicker clump?

Actually, they do. But butterfly bushes will really bring them in.
The geums stay in a tidy clump and all 3 are green thru the winter. The other 2 are a little more rangy, kind of the cottage look.

Well if you are still looking to re-home some I am interested.
