FINALLY, sigh of relief! Been in the back bedroom with the baby. She's fussy just before going down for the night and tonight was an especially fussy one. Took her from mom to give her a break. An hour with mom and 45 minutes with me and she's finally asleep. Such a good baby. Happy all day but bedtime all heck breaks loose. Anyway, they will be here until March 7th then heading down to Cali to my mom great grandma for 2 weeks before heading home to Ohio. Poor girl, has a baby alone while hubby is in Afganistan but moving in with a friend until hubby finishes his tour in 10 months.

T hi, prayers for you. Hope you are feeling better soon.

CR, congrats on the new coop.

Ogress, awesome coop!

Will try to get pics of the Mille babes soon.

Chicky, need to go, but will answer Sportsman ? in the AM. Nite All

Good luck but I hate to be the bearer of bad news ..... The beeswax lip balm won't help them get out of the shell and they don't take money for bribes either.

I have no incubator so I'm safe. It pains me, but at least I'm safe (for now). Can't speak for the rest of you with those big beautiful incubators though. Even those nice little Brinsea mini's and Eco's could handle those eggs quite well. I do think I'll sneak over there just because I'm a looky loo and see how much those pretty eggs are up to now...

I'll enable you. haha
want to make your own incubator?

Haha - stop! I'm very susceptible to suggestion - easily hypnotized... Uh oh, now I'm mulling it over... Maybe I should let DH finish the coop first...

I want to hatch some more eggs.

But we really do have enough.

But they are just to cute....

Im so jealous of all you guys hatching those eggs. I do have a Frizzled Cochan hen sitting on some eggs now. Just a barnyard mix. They should be hatching on Saturday, if they were fertle.

Oh don't worry! He has over a month to finish the coop even if you were to start making your incubator today. lets see...a week to put together the incubator & fine tuning it, 21 days to hatch, 2 maybe 3 weeks to brood, maybe more then the coop. Right? That's 2 months! The tulips will be blooming then.

He better build a brooder first.

The lip balm is for me cause I know with my lips plastered up against the bator window for 21 days they are gonna get chapped. The 5 bucks is the start of my chicken fund cause I have a feeling "You can't hatch just one!" Any sponsors out there?!!! Huh.. Huh.. going once ...

Those are nice color eggs for Cuckoo Marans.

I'm glad you think so cause I'm clueless. I looked up the chart on the net but it is just so hard to tell with out the chart in your hand.
