And Dano is a Barn expert, and he has spent alot of time touring barns and fixing barns in WA...and he is available to talk to at any time !!

Is it a DQ, or how much of a fault is it, if you show a bird who's missing a sickle feather? I mean, missing a feather that may have a foreign color is a big no-no, but if such is not an issue with the breed or color you're showing, yet a sickle, that's a lot to miss. . . Should I just forget about it?

Figured I'd ask here for those experienced with WA shows.

2 pizza crusts per package..Namaste/foods/pizza crust mix...now DH has taken over & is applying toppings..mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Sickle feathers are hackle, pointed long flowing feathers that only cock birds have.
They have neck hackle, and saddle hackle. Use yer imagination there.

Hackle is what we use to tie flies...OK ??
