Looks good to me. Good job. And while the ups is a good idea realistically if you have a power outage it will most likely last more than 45 minutes. Thats barely enough time for the crews to get to the shop and get rigs warmed up. If you really concerned you might want to consider a portable generator. You can gett small cheap ones that would run that for about $150. Or if you want to run more with it or use it a lot go bigger. I have one that I got at Schucks/Orielley. It works great for camping or to run lights and tv in the house and if we are out longer I go start the welder which also has a built in generator.

Wow!
I love the big window. Did you put 2 layers of plexi glass?
I also like the idea of the night light.
I'm hoping to change my heat light from one 40W bulb to 2 25W bulbs and have one going constantly and the other hooked up to hte thermostat.
I read that it helps on the life of the bulb & having one 25 W bulb burn out with the other one on, is better than having one 40 W bulb burn out in the middle of the hatch.
Great Bator.
So how many are you planning to hatch again?

I'm so itching to chop up my little wine fridge.
It has a nice window and stuff. Just need to figure out how to make use of what is existing. the thing works fine. Just in the wrong temp range.

I think I can even fit a turner in it. Eventually one bator is not going to cut it.

I'm impressed. How'd you cut it to put in a window?

I'm still gettin the hang of this upload thingy!

I started to cut out the window with my Dremel but chewed thru 3 blades and only cut one side. So I thought I'd use my jigsaw with a blade for metal but I didn't have one. Sooo... rather than waiting like a goood girl till my DH could bring one home, I used a hack saw blade with out the handle. Only took 2 1/2 hours or so. And the blisters will heal with time. Is patience a virture? When they were gettin handed out I must have missed the line.

This is the part where the duct tape comes in handy.

Also works to tape up big cuts, and warts.

I actually had 2 pieces of 16x20 glass out of picture frames. I put a strip of foam insulation between the two for a spacer. I taped the 2 together with metal heat duct tape. I have 6 kids so I had to discourage them from wanting to open and peek. I love how the whole thing turned out.

My Sister-in-Law wants to come the the show. She just started a batch of eggs that she got from Monica's. She is very happy tonight. She said she would share some of the chicks with me.

Can I get a shirt for the S-i-L? She is supposed to join BYC tonight.

I also have a shirt that I need to get to you. I have a little option on color, I bought 4 shirts the other day. I got 2 green shirts and 2 purple shirts. I sure hope that will work.
