We are getting high winds but hey at least it is 44*. Hope it don't blow the new little coop off the trailer since I took the tie downs off yesterday.

A big, shiny red Honda Snowblower. We bought it new 8 years ago because we tired of shoveling the 200' driveway; only the shovels work much better. The shiny red thing is cursed and shakes out all the bolts holding the blades in and the handle on every 10 feet or so. (works like a charm in dry, powdery snow, but chokes on the wet mush we get here) We have about 12" left in the back yard, 6" on the front patio and 3' under the eaves. No new snow overnight, Woo Hoo!

Tried new bolts and cotter pins too. Even used JB weld. Some will hold till we get near the piles that slide of the eaves, or worse, the piles that the street plow makes as it passes our driveway. I usually break those upt with the pick axe and then send the boy out there with a couple of shovels. Not sure if he tried Nylock Nuts - DH and and a handy man I hired tried lots of things. I'll ask if they tried those. The bolts are big. We have and extra supply of them from Honda, find them all over the yard alng the driveway when the snow melts.
