But on the plus side... The ghosts sing sweetly, the quicksand is green, the vampires are cute and fluffy, and the terrorist only hates me.

Would anyone in the Enumclaw area be able to sell a dz Black copper Maran eggs to a retired person for $25-30.
I am trying to locate a good semaritine to help this gal out.
I am currently sold out and have a long list.
I tried to contact Zgoatlady by phone, and haven't recieved any response.
Is there anybody else out there that can help?
PM me and I will forward her information.

Thanks a dz times,

ooh, the zgoatlady is the only one I know of that has BCMs out there, and her neighbor, who's number I do not have.
I do have zgoatlady's though..but you know she drives school bus and is not home at the moment, try a little later ?
She also has the horrible troubles her son is going through with possible encephalitis...so all you can do is keep trying.
There is redRoosterFarms..by Eatonville, maybe she has some ?
I also think Tailfeathers has some, and some wheatens too..but he is up by you...sorry.
I am way too far away...just keep trying zgaotlady after she gets home from driving bus ??

No pips yet Cheryl..should be soon!
I have a dozen and a half of my eggs in the bator along with the bought/shipped eggs..so it is not the bought/shipped eggs necessarily being "bad"....just all are slow for some reason I cannot figure out.
Five thermometers, 3 digital, 1 mercury and 2 stems, and 2 humidity readers, all are right on as with every hatch....

I must stop watching the pot, I guess.

And Eenie, I still think JB needs creatures from the green lagoon in the backyard, ya know, the kind that quack!!!

Hurricane winds, random downpours of rain....and golden rays of sunshine? I'm so ready for summer

The power went out a few blocks away from my house, I really hope mine stays on

What do you do when the power goes out with incubators? All I've done before is just keep them closed and hope they stay! I suppose that's all you can do?
Luckily the chickies are all old enough where they shouldn't have much of a problem and the newborn quail can cuddle with me

It's the incubator I'm nervous about

Yeah if the power goes out, leave the 'bator alone and hope for the best. Good luck with your eggs!

avianaquamiser show some ways to use nipples but they cost way to much from them.

Have you looked at Farmtek ?

I have. Thanks! Looks like qcsupply has the best prices that I've seen so far. Gonna look a bit longer.

Wow, I guess I truly do get weather before anyone else in WA. . . .

It's nice and sunny here now.

Cover it with a blanket to keep the heat in if the power goes off. Broody hens get off the nest at least once a day to eat, drink, and poop without all their chicks dying, so a temporary temperature drop can't be all that dire.
